北溫帶終年受極地氣團影響,雖然冬季表層水溫較低,但鹽度小,含氧量 多,水團垂直交換強,水中營養(yǎng)鹽類豐富,浮游生物很多,故使大量以浮游生物為餌料的魚類得到繁殖、 生長,成為世界重要漁場的分布區(qū)域。北溫帶魚類的種數遠比北極帶豐富,主要有太平洋鱈魚、鯡魚、大馬哈魚等,它在世界漁業(yè)經濟中具有重要地位。哺乳動物中,在太平洋部分有海狗、海驢、海獺、日本鯨和海豚;在大西洋水域有比斯開鯨、白海海豚、海豹等。
(3)北熱帶。大體位于北緯10~30°。全年氣溫均較高,冬、夏季溫差不大(zui 熱月平均溫22~25℃,zui冷月15~20℃)。多熱帶氣旋。年降水量500~1000毫米。帶內東西部海區(qū)氣溫 、降水差異明顯。全年受副熱帶高壓帶控制,廣大海域水體垂直交換微弱,深層水的營養(yǎng)鹽類不易上涌 ,浮游生物和有經濟價值的魚類都較少。但是,在受赤道洋流影響的海域,含有豐富營養(yǎng)鹽類的深層水上涌,使浮游生物和魚類得以繁殖,形成有價值的魚類捕撈區(qū)。哺乳類動物很少,主 要有抹香鯨。本帶北部繁殖有多種浮游動物,南部有大量的珊瑚、海龜和鯊等。
(4)赤道帶。大體介于南北緯10°間。終年高溫多雨,年均溫25~28℃,年降水 量1500~2000米,赤道附近可達2000~3000毫米。處在赤道低壓區(qū),全年氣溫高、風力微弱、蒸發(fā)旺盛 ,加之有赤道洋流引起海水的垂直交換,使下層營養(yǎng)鹽類上升,生物養(yǎng)料比較豐富,魚類較多,主要有 鯊、鱏等,飛魚為赤道帶典型魚 類。
(5)南熱帶。位于南緯10~30°。本帶由于高壓特別強盛,致使熱帶位置向北推 移,其它特征和成因均與北熱帶基本相同,亦屬少生物型。
(6)南溫帶。大體介于南緯30~60°。全年盛行西風,其中南緯40~60°洋面上 ,因三大洋相互連

(4) Equatorial belt. It is roughly between 10 degrees north and south latitude. It is hot and rainy all year round, with an average annual temperature of 25 to 28°C, an annual rainfall of 1,500 to 2,000 meters, and an equator of 2,000 to 3,000 millimeters. It is located in the equatorial low-pressure area and enjoys high temperatures, weak winds, and strong evaporation. In addition, the vertical exchange of seawater caused by the equatorial ocean currents increases the nutrient levels in the lower layers. The abundance of biological nutrients and fish are abundant. Sharks, cockroaches, etc. Flying fish are typical fish in the equator.
